A proud moment as the Olympic Torch passed through Dorking, Surrey:

This photo was taken by Thomas Pashley to promote LWdesign of Dorking.

I must admit I was not looking forward to photographing the event, as I feared the crowds would make things very difficult, but as I arrived to take the shot I was greeted to the warming site of a jubilant British crowd. A break in the bleak weather at the right time really helped bring the shot to life.
